We recently decided to check out the competition and order a tin of Bean Me Up's "Love Collection" magic beans.

First off, we have to say the quality of the beans that Bean Me Up sent us was pretty good. They were all large and plump, they all sprouted and the engravings were all well done.

We can't really fault Bean Me Up on quality.

We do wish that they included just a little more soil in the tin, as it was not really a deep enough tin for the plants to establish a decent root system. As you can see from the photo below, after pushing the beans into the soil, watering them and watching them swell up the, beans were more or less located on the surface of the soil.

This is fine and the Bean Me Up beans will still grow, but it would be nice to have the option to actually plant the beans under the soil and watch them burst up one day with their message!
